Details
Size A4, 297x210 DEPTH: 3mm
-
A4 handpainted portrait on board, signed by the artist
-
Each painting is varnished for a beautiful finish
-
Back hook attached so the portrait can be hung immediately
-
My artistic style is loose and sketchy - ot a precise carbon copy. I love to interpret personality through strong features such as fur markings, eyes or slight exaggeration of proportions
-
Please do not include toys in the photo
-
Background colour - Please send me a photo of the room or house the painting will be hung in as this will help me choose the background colour and tone. If you are not sure where the painting will go, I can link the background colour to a detail in the photo such as the collar colour
-
Large pets - I paint the bust/head shot only (see photo tips for more details)
-
Smaller pets - For smaller dogs (pugs, sausage dogs etc)rabbits, hamsters etc, pending pose, I can paint the whole body (see photo tips for more details)

Each portrait takes typically 10-14 working days to sketch/paint and finish excluding shipping time
Photo Reference Guide
Good photos for me to work from:
- Please make sure the photos are well lit and in focus so all the facial features can be seen clearly
- Please submit photos that are taken from around the eye level of the pet
- Please try and submit photos shot an angle so I can see more of one side of the face (see the dotted red line photos as a reference)
- Please submit photos that are at a good distance with a full outline of the head or body (full body only for smaller dogs/ cats and smaller pets)
- Its preferable for me to paint the pets not with their tongues out
- Please make sure the eyes are fully opened and visible
- Please make sure the head is fully visible and your pets face is not lying down/leaning on something, or has something in its mouth
Important Information
PLEASE TRY TO NOT TO SUBMIT:
- Photos taken from considerable height
- Photos of pets with something in their mouths/leaning on something
